Two classes of grade six students at Mary Queen of Peace, St. John's also completed claymations during the 2001-2002 school year. Their teacher Bruce Lane showed them the claymations made by PWC students and had them email them with their comments. Some of the comments follow:

"The clay movies were great. My favorite was Disco's Dead. You did a very good job!" Hannah D

"The claymations were really good!!! I liked Up, Up and Away. They were all really nice though." Amanda R

"You and your school did a great job on the movies. Our school did something almost the same. My favorite movie was Up, Up and Away." Stefanie G

"My favorite is the Cat Trap! What I like about it is that the story is simple and straightforward. The cat sticks his paw in the mouse hole and gets a trap shut on it." Jimmy J

"The sound effects are what makes these animations so good! The background music and effects go with the action. My favorite is Disco's Dead. Great job!" Shelley N

Some of the stories are really funny. There was a lot of hard work that went into it! We did something similar so I know what I am talking about!! Terry H

My favorite was Up, Up and Away. I like the .wmv format. We couldn't get it to work at first. It loaded really quick. When the characters walk though you should move their feet. Brianna R
