Friday, March 21
is World Poetry Day!
Poetry can be for everyone and poems can be about
anything. We meet people, we go places, we feel emotions, and we
have thoughts. Any of these can be the subject matter for a
poem. So, on World Poetry Day, read a poem, write a poem, share
a poem in class, or elsewhere. Dare to do it – poetry. Explore
new worlds!
At Prince of Wales, Patrick Warner, a Newfoundland Poet, will be
conducting a seminar for Prince of Wales Collegiate poets on
Poetry Day. |
